This Privacy Policy describes how Evalation LLC ("Evalation," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with Evalation Ops, our business management platform for residential contractors, accessible at evalationops.com and evalation.app (the "Platform").

This policy also covers Evalation CORR and Evalation Team, our companion mobile apps for iOS available on the App Store.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, phone number, and billing information.

1.2 Business Data

We store client records, project information, estimates, blueprints, and communications you enter into the Platform. This data belongs to you.

1.3 Website and Funnel Data

If you use Evalation Ops to host websites or marketing funnels, we collect visitor analytics including page views, form submissions, referrer URLs, and approximate geographic location derived from IP address.

1.4 Google Business Profile Data

If you connect your Google Business Profile to Evalation Ops, we access your GBP data through the Google Business Profile API using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage scope. We may access:

We access this data only to provide GBP management features within Evalation Ops. We do not sell, share, or use this data for any purpose beyond operating these features. You may disconnect your Google account at any time from your account settings.

1.5 SMS Communications Data

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Evalation Ops, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent record (date, time, and method of opt-in). We use this information solely to send you the SMS messages you consented to receive. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

1.6 Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Platform to improve it and troubleshoot issues.

1.7 Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and collect product analytics via PostHog or similar tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your business data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

3. SMS Messaging

Evalation Ops sends SMS messages to users who have explicitly opted in.

Message types: Transactional notifications including lead alerts, project updates, account notifications, and platform announcements.

Frequency: Message frequency varies based on account activity. You may receive up to 5 messages per week.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one final confirmation and no further messages will be sent.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply.

We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only with:

Service Providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), and Anthropic (AI features). These providers access your data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

Google: When you connect your Google Business Profile, data is exchanged under the terms of Google's API Services User Data Policy.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or court order.

Business Transfers: Your information may transfer if Evalation LLC is acquired or merges with another company.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for 90 days after cancellation to allow recovery, after which it is permanently deleted. Contact david@evalation.shop to request immediate deletion.

Google Business Profile data is deleted within 30 days of disconnecting your Google account.

SMS consent records are retained for 4 years to comply with carrier recordkeeping requirements.

6. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and access controls. Our infrastructure uses Supabase and Vercel, both of which maintain SOC 2 compliance programs.

7. Your Rights

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Contact david@evalation.shop to exercise these rights.

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

Evalation Ops's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google API data only to provide and improve the Google Business Profile management features within Evalation Ops. We do not use Google API data to serve advertising, share it with third parties for their own purposes, or use it for any purpose that violates Google's policies.

9. Children's Privacy

Evalation Ops is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes by email or Platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
